I feel I have been jailed here as punishment for failing to believe this place even existed, let alone heed the warnings of the dangers that lurk among the secret passages.
The Underbelly is an Outmark below The Burnings, revealing a vast cave with ancient structures below. This location does not have a map.

The Underbelly seem to be a factory or sorts created in The Elden Age, specializing in boiling liquid through ventilation shafts to most likely generate power (Like our equivalent to steam power). But due to unknown reasons, the whole city was buried, and overtime became a huge cave itself. Many people from many ages made expeditions or lone explorations to learn of this place and hoard treasures. But evident from the Ghosts here that there were many accidents, from floods to lurking dangers. Not every death sprouted a ghost, but it is unique that the Ghosts in this belly are all of different ages, and for those that were the biggest skeptics of this area are not able to interact with spirits and passersby that delve into this cave.[1]
