The Quest
1) Getting hint of the quest
At the bottom left of The Underbelly, near the bottom of the western stairs, find a place with a blue light shining through and use any method to let yourself see Ghosts to reveal the Archeologist Mystic. Talk to them, and they reveal there is a specific method needed to talk to the other ghosts in this place.
If you are resolved to speak to the others, I know a way...The price will be solving of a riddle and finding a vessel suitable for the creation of the means of communication to which I am referring.

2) Knowing and collecting the ingredients
Visit the Mystic Cauldron in the middle of the Underbelly, and press the exchange button to see what ingredients are needed. You will need 7 Underbelly moss, 1 Marble-shade and 1 Sulphur grains.
- Sulphur grains can be found by checking out the common loot containers around the Underbelly.
- Underbelly moss are usually found at the East of the Map, just above where the Cheerful Baker is at.
- A Marble-shade can be obtained through several means, but the most quickest and reliable source is to forage it in Western Harvest Route
3) Activating the Cauldron
Return to the Mystic Cauldron and exchange these ingredients, which will then grant you the Ghost Smoke effect card. You are now able to speak to the ghosts in the Underbelly.
Note - The Ghost Smoke effect does have a timer. If you do not complete the following steps before the timer runs out, you will need to gather the ingredients for the Mystic Cauldron again.
4) Vague memories
Southeast of the Cauldron you will find another blue light shining through. Use any method to see Ghosts, and you can now speak to the Halzhaan Expedition Member to receive their dried up Withered Thread of Recollection.
5) Soaking up
Travel to the far West of the map, just Southwest of the Settler Explorer, on the Northern shore of the underground lake. A bright light beam shines down on The Hearth-well. You are prompted to soak the thread in the well and receive Soaked Thread of Recollection. Return back to the Halzhaan Expedition Member.
6) Recollection
The member is very grateful for your help retrieving their memories and rewards you for completing the quest.
This quest is repeatable.
