The Quest

1) Starting the quest

Unlike usual quests, this chain is not triggered by an NPC, more so is learning about it through who you interact with and what you will do with it. Whichever it is, you are to first collect some Cobalt-glazed tile shards, which are found in Kuro Orchard, the Pottery Grove.

Your decision will then split into 2 paths.

Light

Listening to Zania,

Hello, Nomad! I am Zania, overseer of this archaeological excavation when my master, Professor Myrak is away. This site is unique due to there having existed potteries here through all the ages...Shards and broken crockery from the Halszhaan age are quite common, but we find quite a lot from the Varhim age as well...Rarest of all of course, are pieces and shards from the Elden Age...Should you happen to find any Cobalt Glazed Pottery Shards however, I've been told that the Lighthouse Keeper in Myr has urgent need of them. As my Master sends the few we find here to him makes me confident to recommend you do the same. Farewell, Nomad.

They prompt you to pass any Cobalt-glazed tile shards to Concerned Lighthouse Keeper if you come across them.

Night

If you talk to the Pro-Herald Excavation Assistant, they prompt you to bring the Cobalt-glazed tile shards to another individual.

Take my advice and bring any Cobalt shards you find to the Voices' Tavern in The Little Slip...There you will find someone waiting to recognize the true value of Cobalt Glazed Pottery Shards. I'm sure you won't be disappointed... Now keep this conversation under your hat, yes?

2a) Light Path

Heeding their advise, head to Myr to pass the shards to the Lighthouse Keeper.

With your aid, I feel we have bought ourselves a little more time before the light fails. If we only could find more of them...

Reward

2b) Night Path

A} Meeting the individual

With the shards in your inventory (not in a pocket), visit the Voices' Tavern in Little Slip, there will be a hooded figure that used to be un-interactable called the Hooded Person, and they will point you the direction to where to give the shards to.

Wanderer...I see you have found the real goods...So many forgeries have been put before me over the seasons...I will not tolerate such things...Now that I have laid eyes on the goods, I will tell you where someone awaits your arrival. Listen well, Khelim.

Travel North to the area of Harrow Ledge...Seek out among the Western cliffs a secluded cave, hid from sight. You will find your just reward for such shards as these. Fear not little, Khelim...For the bearer of good news will never risk mistreatment. Mind how you go, Nomad.

B) The visit

Following their directions, go to Harrow Ledge, within the Western cliffs there lies a small cave with an altar with a ghostly shape, previously non-interactable, now known as the Herald of The Sleeper. You will be prompted an exchange button.

By that ring I have gifted you protection for when the time of the Sleeper comes...But by all means trade the ring away if you wish...I will gift you another for the trifling price of another shard...For every new ringbearer I am delighted...

A band for each one of our number

Until counted every light-cursed day

the Sleeper woken from its slumber

Verve the Ruler risen from the waves
