Locked strongbox
This strongbox is locked tight. Only mechanical skill and deft hands will entice it to open.
Locked strongbox is a loot container that can be opened with a mechanical endeavour check (1-5). Typically, there are 8 slots where items are stored.
Each container holds Equipment and Trade Goods, although the quality and quantity of items are variable. However, you may also receive requests from different characters like the Lock Box Maker and the Mournful Relative to open the strongbox. In these cases, instead of accessing the contents of the box, you will receive a reward directly added to your inventory.
If the endeavour check is successful, the container is renamed to Unlocked strongbox, and any remaining contents on the ground will disappear once all the loot has been taken.
