Spoiler frog.png This page contains SPOILERS from Book of Travels.

These rumors relate to the Crossings' Crops quest.

Unlike other dialogue, rumors are not unique to a single NPC or set of NPCs and may be repeated by multiple random NPC characters primarily in the squares and teahouses of the three towns, Myr, Bat Saha, and Crossings. This distinguishes them from the reports of the Town Reporters or the custom poems of other NPCS which appear in italic. Selka Rumors, Malku Su Rumors, and Sah Basir Rumors NPCs also sometimes speak lore in italics that relates to their culture and these NPCs are identified by race.

Crop Contagion

Dialogue
Wind voices from Rivenleaf are investigating some farmer's field near Crossings...There are whispers of some sickness of the crops that might be contagious.
Someone tried to grind the seeds of half-wind afflicted crops in a machine! I heard it came to no good...
Those windstruck crops in Crossings...Are they enchanted or afflicted..? And what is the difference in any case?
The farmers in Crossings should trust the mystics inspecting their crops. The affliction could be contagious!
This rumor was heard in Crossings and seems to refer to the Crossings' Crops quest. It's horrible how freak cross-winds can cause such disaster as it has in our area!
Should you come across crops afflicted by half Winds, stay well away! {{{2}}}

Crop Investigation

Dialogue
Perhaps a Windreader would have something to say about what happened to that field near The Crossings!
Have you seen the mystics sent from Rivenleaf to investigate the afflicted crops in Crossroads?
They may look mean, but I don't think those Rivenleaf mystics in Crossings carry any ill intent.
The Rivenleaf mystics have forbidden the farmers in Crossings to harvest their crops! I hear both the farmers and their livestock are on the brink of starvation!

Crop Related Disasters

Dialogue
The odd-looking tree East of Crossroads was once a hunter...who unwittingly walked into a Wind-afflicted field.

Crop Theft

Dialogue
The rumor seems confirmed by one of the reports of the News Heralds about bandits stealing things in Crossings Bandits will steal anything, but I don't think they know what they have on their hands with that Wind-afflicted grain...
