A mantle crafted from the full skin of an ox. The head of the ox has been hollowed out and can be draped over the wearer's face to conceal their identity.

When the Asken folk were still young and hungry in Braided Shore, the animals of the forests fled from them and the fish of the sea remained elusive. It was the bovines who came to the Asken willingly and let them partake of their nourishing milk and saved them from starvation.
