You don't happen to be a mechanic, Wanderer?

The two Mechanics Faculty Pupils appear along the road side along the Western Harvest Route road.

The Mechanics Faculty Pupils are attempting to reconstruct an Elden Age machine, in order to help them you must pass a +6 Endeavour Symbol Mechanical.png check.

*After some deliberation you realise they've installed a magnetic coil the wrong way around*

When you speak to the Mechanics Faculty Pupil holding the blueprint I just can't work it out...Why is it running backwards!? We followed the Elden schematics down to the smallest detail when we built our replica. Have you any knowledge of mechanics, Traveller? If you do, take a look at this blueprint. Can you see anything we might have gotten wrong?
When you speak to the Mechanics Faculty Pupil standing next to the machine Ah, hello...Wanderer! We are students of the mechanical principles...But I must confess our machine has us all baffled, even though we built it ourselves. It is not running as intended...We'll be laughed out of the University if we can't get it right. Perhaps you as a far travelled person, have insights that may shine a sobering light on this mystery for us? If you do, please take a look at our schematic and tell us what you see.

Upon first interaction after successful completion of the endeavour: Oh! Of course, Sehm! You have put the finger on our mistake! Thank you so much. We'll take the machine back to the shop and make the adjustments!
Upon interaction after successful completion of the endeavour: I can't believe you cracked it! We've been staring at the blueprint for days on end. Your reversed polarity theory would explain everything. Here, please take this as some token of my admiration of your genius, Wanderer.
Upon second interaction after successful completion of the endeavour: Thanks again, Wanderer! Next time we meet, you'll see the machine running the way it should!
