Phew! Lucky we found this cave when the rain started.

Occasionally when it is raining on Alken Rock Coast, this group of three fishers can be found sheltering in Coastal Grotto, warming themselves by a fire and sharing stories.

| When you speak to Tel | Did you get caught out in the storm as well? Feel free to take a seat and listen to our fishing tales. I like to fish at dawn, I enjoy the atmosphere. I had come upon an old shipwreck, those things are usually loaded with fish looking for a new home! I sat down and I put my lure in the water. I waited. And I waited... Until I finally withdrew my line and found it bitten clean off! Had to go all the way home to get a new line, hook and sinker! |
| When you speak to Milldeksim Strongrod | It is unfortunate when a downpour catches you off-guard when you had planned for a whole day of fishing. However it can be useful to gather tips when everyone is gathered together like this. My name is Milldeksim but the other fishers around here call me Strongrod. I believe it is meant to be ironic. I have broken many of my rods in the past. I remember this one time when I was fishing on Skirr Islet. It was evening and I felt something big and heavy on my hook. Naturally I pulled my rob straight up but it shattered like a twig! I have returned to the spot many times but I have yet to encounter the rod-breaker again. |
| When you speak to Let | Phew! Lucky we found this cave when the rain started. The name's Let, and that over there is my sister Tel. we're telling some fishing stories while we wait for the weather to pass. My story begins in the dark Charwood forest. It was raining, just like today. I had found a nice little spot in the Mist Keeper's Moor, west of the old Jesem Lodge. I had just starting fishing when a great big paw splashed out of the water and bopped me on the nose! Knocked me out flat! I wake up later and find my sandwich and day's catch completely gone! |
