A stick with a few frog giblets skewered, ready for roasting. There is a Sah Basir legend that tell of Sammakko, the first frog. Whereas other spirits took dominion over mountains and valleys, Sammakko roamed the waters, hopping from sea to river to swampland and never staying in one place. Wherever Sammakko went, he sired children who became frogs and toads and other amphibious animals around the lands. Inspired by this legend, many Sah Basir name their ships some variation of "Sammakko."
