Larder Barterer is an NPC found in the Kitchen near Voice's Tavern in Little Slip, during the Head Cook and Workers event. The Larder Barterer’s preferences for certain types of items vary depending on the day of the week.

Located down the stairs on the right-hand side of the kitchen, this character plays a crucial role in acquiring ingredients for the Head Cook. Known for his frustration with the Larder Barterer's creative ideas, the Head Cook relies on this individual to manage the kitchen’s supplies.

Speaking to Larder Barterer on Mondays The head cook is frothing at the mouth with rage. Apparently our shipment of meat got dropped in the lake by a "dizzy" deliveryman. If you happen to find some meat, let me know. I'll trade you for it. It may just save my job.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Tuesdays The vegetable shipment is late again. Last time this happened they blamed it on "the crops not growing fast enough". As if that's an excuse. Anyway, if you have any vegetables, I'm happy to trade you for them.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Wednesdays Heavy demand for fish tonight. The head cook said he'd put me in the stew if I don't acquire some soon. Which is odd, since I'm not a fish.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Thursdays More and more delays. You'd think something would go well, just once, as a change of pace. But no, we're missing our shipment of fresh fruit. I'll give you a good bargin if you have any to trade.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Fridays Oh no! Our shipment of dessert ingredients got delayed. It probably got raided by sweet-toothed bandits, or something.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Saturdays We're out of mushrooms. I tried using some mold I found down here in the cellar as a substitute but the head cook scolded me for it. I don't see what the problem is with mold. It almost tastes like mushrooms. I ate some earlier to prove it was harmless. The trader's stomach rumbles disconcertingly.
Speaking to Larder Barterer on Sundays Out of eggs already... I suggested we should set up a chicken coop down here in the cellar for easy access to eggs. The head cook said we don't need any more tiny-brained hens clucking about down here when we already have me. What do you think he meant by that?
