Do not dismiss the simple moth so quickly. I suspect there to be a reason why there are so many mystical creatures that match the moth in form.
From the premonitious fire moths, to the mystical lantern moths, to the grand and unknowable sediment eater from Malku mythology.
I only wish my research subjects would stop devouring my experiment robes.
