The smallest known shark, which might not say much, since the seas is vast, and many yet-to-be-discovered creatures lurk in the depths. The lanternshark can be found off the northern coasts of Braided Shore and gets its name from its ability to produce luminescent chemicals from glands underneath its skin. The glowing glands make it a popular snack for certain types of fish and a popular bait for certain types of fishers.

Lanternshark can be used as bait for fishing.
