The Makeshift fishing rod is a tool used to catch fish. The rod can be helpful for players who struggle with the fishing mini-game, as it prevents them from accidentally triggering it. Although the odds are slightly reduced, the same types of fish can be caught at each location. However, it's worth noting that there are some fish that can only be caught in deeper waters, and unfortunately, this fishing rod is not capable of reaching those distances.
