The Esoteric Union is the 'magical' Union of the Braided Shore. Their headquarters can be found in the Rivenleaf Academy of Kasa. Their members consist of Brewmakers, Wind Voices and Knot Binders. Representatives of the Union can be found in almost every village, selling skills, brews, and other vital components to locals and Khelim alike.

Farmers
The majority of the farmers in Crossings don't like Mystics and magic in general, believing magic is being used to create abominations and destruction.[1]
Crafter's Union
The alchemists of the Esoteric Union often cooperate with the Crafter's Union to acquire some of the basic reagents that they require for their experiments.[2]
Council
The Esoteric Union provides the council with weather reports.[3]
Lore
The Esoteric Union was established in the reign of Sylla Halzhaan by her brother-in-law Raph Aël, leader of a mystic sect called the Esoterim. Sylla Halzhaan was the patron and supporter of new Esoteric Union.
The current Union Leader of the Esoteric's Union is Grandmaster Grahma, though if it is unclear at this moment if he still upholds his title after the incident in Kasa.
Only Brew Master Adepts of the Esoteric Union posess the knowledge of reducing and sealing mystical tea brews to make magical vials.

A disk with the imprint of an elongated salamander wrapping around itself. There was once a group of secretive mystics who banded together to research and preserve arcane mysteries and occult knowledge. The general population frowned upon the Esoterim when rumours arose that they were attempting to uncover some power to rival the Sefra and even the very winds. The rumours halted when Elo Aël, brother of Esoterim leader Raph Aël married Sylla Halzhaan and in turn made Raph Aël court mystic. From there it didn't take long before the Esoterim were granted royal support to act in an official manner as the Esoteric Union.
