The Miserable Young Woman marks the end of the Crossings' Crops quest. If you bring her the Piece of metal wire she will speak to you.
"Yeah, yeah... Very clever, Khelim... I don't even have the energy to claim my innocence. I just wanted to impress the handsome farm boy that has been avoiding me ever since I begun my mystic studies at the Rivenleaf University... Most of us farmers are so very precautious when it comes to magic, fear of souring milk and the birth of three-headed piglets and all that... I just thought I would prove that it can be a force for good... Their yield always had a rather poor yield. I thought, you know, that if I could call down the Southern Wind, give their crops a bit of a push... The farmers stores would fill up and the boy's heart would follow suit... I guess I was halfway successful... The field soured... As did the heart of every farmer in the area. Well... The damage is done now... Unless if you have some Khelim's trick to turn back time, best just leave me here to stew in my own misery."
