If you complete Junior Apprentice Kephi's branch of the Deliver A Kettem Crux Quest, Junior Apprentice Kephi gives you some information about how to locate Sayida. However, it is possible to complete this quest without this information.

Now, listen...There is a cave just East of here that is home to a dreadful mystery...You will probably need something I have to trade in order for you to fully investigate it...I believe that whoever overcomes the terror that haunts that cave will very well discover some very valuable treasure there.
1) Receiving the Curse
Under the rock shelter in North East West Wind Shores, use a means of Seeing the dead to reveal Sayida the Seafury. If you interact with Sayida in any way, they will place the Seafury Curse on you. When the curse is placed on the player, a red light will appear above the player's head.
You dare fling words at Sayida the Seafury?! So be it, mortal...Know that your puny affronts shall be repaid with interest!...And if you draw steel against me, I will bring down upon you all the fury of the Bitter Barrens! Oh, And savour my CURSE, mortal! Hahahaha...!
2) Removing the Curse
Enter combat and duel with Sayida. If you win the duel, Sayida will say "Nooooooooooo!" and the curse will be lifted.
