Life Petals

If you get hurt on your travels, know that there are ways for mortals to heal themselves.

Temple Guardian Doe

Life Petals are displayed in the top-left of the screen. Travellers will begin the game with two life petals, and can have a maximum of three.

A number of actions and activities will have an effect on life petals:

Losing Life Petals

You will lose a life petal when defeated in combat, providing it is not a friendly duel.
You will lose a life petal when your Energy meter depletes fully.
Eating Blowfish or Warty thornslug will remove a life petal.

Temple Guardian Doe in Bat Saha will restore a life petal by passing a 1 Endeavour.
Omo's Mending Brew will restore a life petal.
You can use Bandage to restore a life petal of another traveller.

If all three life petals are depleted, the player character will be considered 'dead', and respawn as a Ghost in a cemetary.

The Spot Injury skill will let you know how many life petals other travellers currently have.
The Unyielding Life skill will increase Ward if the player has only one life petal.
