The Braided Shore lantana is famous for its strong scent and its hardiness. It is not for the naught when cultivated by Asken folk that they can be found next to outhouses and chicken coops. In rural areas lanta flowers are more often known as "butterfly beds" due to the often profound amounts of butterflies that gather on the flower at sundown. Opulent, hardy, and colourful, the lantana symbolize good humor and tolerance and can be often be seen on the bindle of poor wayfarers or fastened to long-way travellers' hats.
