The Quest

1) Starting the quest

Speak to the Aged Sewer-man to start the quest. They can be found roaming in a shallow pool of water in The Cistern

A traveller down here in the cistern? Must be some kind of vagabond in hiding from the wardens, huh? What, you think I'd be one to judge? Hey, if you happen to find a marble ribbon around here it would mean more than the cobalt seas to me if you would return it.

1a) A clue

Adim with the shabby coat offers a clue to the solution. They can be found in the north west area of The Cistern, standing to the south of the exit to Kasa and the Bug battling children.

I see you met old Ribbon Searcher. He was here before me and I've been here a while. Tragic story that one, I hear he lost his wedding ribbon on the eve of his proposal. Crawled down here into the sewers to find it but ended up losing himself instead. You see there is a madness here...in these endless corridors. It's easy to succumb to the echoing of the water and the skittering in the shadows. Like that old queen from myth...Anyway, I've seen Pale Hands play with a ribbon from time to time, it might be Sewer Searcher's but I doubt he'd even recognize it after such a long time.

2) Pale hands

Pale hands sells a Sewer ribbon which you can purchase. They are hidden inside a sewer pipe in the wall to the north of where the Aged Sewer-man roams.

3)Mixed feelings

Return the Sewer ribbon to the Aged Sewer-man.

No, Vagabond, I've found that wedding band from time to time as well. It's similar but I distinctively remember my band to be marble and mine was in a much better state! You think I would propose to my darling with that tattered thing? No I remember, it was the favourite colour of...of...How queer, it seems that I've forgotten her name...and her face...her eyes...Her eyes were the same colour! I remember that! If I can find the ribbon I just know I could remember.
