Our windvoice Mazi sent up a bright cinnabar knot, it went flying far up through the dark stormy sky and lit up thee abyssal water around us. For a moment, the light illuminated the terrified faces of my crew and then it was dark once more.
There we drifed in the night until I saw something new on the horizon. A bright sulphur cap just above the waves of the horizon. It was then that I knew that we were saved.
