The circle and symbolism seems to be the nature of rings, for they are holders of stories. A jewelled ring holds stories of vain ambitions, a knuckle the trembling wish for safety. But a simple braided string can tie promises of companionship and hold memories of lost love. The only ring I have not yet encountered is one that doesn't have a story to tell.
