As one might assume, Kasa special originates from the City of Kasa where this sauce is Wildly popular. The specific ingredients of Kasa special is a closely guarded secret by the many saucemongers who craft and sell the special. Perhaps this is merely a marketing tactic to make the sauce seem mysterious, if that is the case then it has definitely worked. Some sauce sceptics suggest with sass that the special is simply a rebranding for another sauce which saw little success due to İts hard to pronounce name. The name of the other sauce has been forgotten (most likely due to it being near unpronounceable.) The sauce itself has a very strong umami flavour and is commonly poured in stews or on top of meats and mushrooms.
