The Quest
1) Starting the quest
Sometimes in cities and villages at night, you can find the Secretive Person. If you talk with them, they will tell you about their mistress who will teach trading techniques. They give you the Haggler's knot and direct you to the Voices' Tavern.
You have the look of someone that might have an eye for trade. I represent someone who can teach you certain, effective trading techniques that might be...of use to someone like you. If you are interested, visit the Teahouse by the lake on Friday night...My mistress will be there to receive you. Just travel West from Myr and make your way to the Voices' Tavern. And before I forget, take this message Knot. Don't lose it. My mistress will know I sent you only if you present it. Until we meet again, Traveller...
2) Seeking that individual
Travel to the Voices' Tavern in Little Slip on a Friday night, and you may find the "Master Gambler", also called Nightfeather. They will have a number of items for trade which will benefit haggling. You will need the knot in your inventory in order to trade with them.
