Exchanges

The Edge of the Docks, located just left of the Puzzled Rock Thrower, is interactive. Clicking on it opens an exchange window, allowing you to swap an item from your backpack. The item will then be thrown into the water.

If you exchange any item with the Edge of the docks, you will receive the following line of dialogue:

Your item plunges into the waters of the harbour. There is a splash followed by a few rippling rings before the water goes still once more.

Dialogue

Dialogue
When you first speak to the Puzzled Rock Thrower The beggar seems to be tossing stones into the water, gazing at the ripples they make. Hello stranger. Would you like to toss something in the water as well? It might be therapeutic.
When you speak to the Puzzled Rock Thrower after throwing something in the water I wonder what you tossed. I couldn't make out the shape. Was it a stone? Or maybe something more valuable? Was it something precious to you or just a piese of trash?

There were some nice ripples that it made... But they are gone now. Along with your little treasure. It doesn't matter what we throw, or how hard we throw them. The ripples disappear no matter what. I wonder how long you will remember the ripples.. the thing you threw...and our little chat. But maybe ripples don't have to exist forever to mean something in the present. But I am not a philosopher, nor am I a poet. I'm just an evening rock thrower.

When you speak to the Puzzled Rock Thrower again Hello friend. Would you like to toss something into the water again? I'll watch ripples with you.
