Resna consumables

So I've left the Consumables section up with a note that as of Feb 8, many of these items are reportedly no longer accepted. I took off lanternmoth but people on discord seemed confused. Will leave this up to admin, but recommend leaving up w a note for at least a couple weeksQiandaizi (talk) 03:02, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

Ok not sure why this was commented out 3 days after despite asking for this to be left up for a few weeks. but people are still asking about this information a month later. Would like to know why it's important for the information to not be available to readers. I will abide by the admins' decision, but honestly found this edit kind of abrupt and pretty unilateral in the opposite direction without giving any reason. Qiandaizi (talk) 23:52, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
  • Hiya, thanks for picking this one up in the discord. I'm afraid I can't speak on Willows behalf about their reasoning, and don't believe I was involved in previous discussions about this, but hopefully Willows can provide some clarification once they're back if this is still an issue.
  • In the meantime I agree with you that we should try to avoid points of confusion for players, especially cases like this where a long-standing game mechanic has suddenly changed in a recent update that they may have missed. I've added a note under Items of Interest to try and clarify this, this can be removed at a later date. (or kept in, assuming that the list of eligible items will be changed again in another update)
  • I have also created a new template Template:Recent Update Warning which I hope I've made clear enough on the page when/how it should be used but please let me know on that discussion page if it isn't.
  • I hope that the combination of this warning, plus the Note, are enough? Mossywalker (talk) 07:55, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
