The Sulphur Terrace is a steep cliff which juts up from the dirt like a beastly rib. The bright sulphur rock sticks out over the Fumes and stops the South Wind from blowing northward over The Quiet Lodge. At night, the bottom of the terrace is completely free from the wind except for the small gusts created by the bats that make the underside of the terrace their homes.
