The webs of the silk spiders are highly regarded for their durable quality, but the spiders are not native to Braided Shore. They only recently appeared in the lands, giving cause to much speculation. Some believe that the spiders begin their lives as ordinary people, just smaller in size. Then, when they reach a certain age they weave a silk web cocoon and drift with the Wind, to hatch as a spider in Braided Shore.
