The Gull-Lord lived during the late Third Age, a time marked by instability and a surge in piracy along Braided Shore. During this age, the region was under constant threat, with trade and daily life perpetually at risk due to pirate activities.

Lore

Nearing the end of the Third Age, the fearsome pirate the Gull-Lord took control of Bat Saha, disrupting trade and life in general. Operating from his base on the island, the Gull-Lord became one of the most feared Sah Basir pirates in the region. He was notorious for his ability to capture and stop numerous ships, spreading terror among sailors and merchants. His distinctive attire, a full outfit with a hood adorned with seagull feathers, became a symbol of fear on the open sea. His success in maritime raids allowed him to amass great wealth.

The Gull-Lord's downfall came after an act that marked the end of his reign of terror. He captured and killed two merchants but spared their daughter. While the exact details of his fate remain uncertain, most historians believe that this woman, later known as the Crescent-Princess, swore vengeance. With the help of a group of adventurers, she ultimately defeated the Gull-Lord. His defeat signaled the end of an era of instability in the region, but it wasn’t until the Fourth Age that commerce resumed in earnest, when the Halzhaan Dynasty rose to power.

Mentions

A full dress and a hood with seagull feathers haphazardly stuck into the cloth.

Any sailor who saw this clothing on the open sea would shiver in their boots for it's unambiguously fashioned after the garb of the Dire Gull-Lord. The Gull-Lord, operating from his base on Bat Saha was one of the most feared Sah Basir pirates that the Braided Shore has even encountered and single-handedly stopped almost as many ships as were grains of sand in Ovi Talif.

According to legend, the pirate's reign of terror come to an end when he captured and killed two merchants but let their daughter go. The daughter swore revenge and gathered a band of adventurers to take the Gull-Lord down.

Whatever happened to the Gull-Lord in the end is unclear but most historians believe he met his end at the tip of the Crescent-Princess' blade.
